Seattle Stops Slow Hit Streak Wednesday, May 1st , 2080 Outer Banks Aviators center fielder Bazooka Slow finally met his Waterloo. A 26-game hitting spree is now history after Slow was unable to make anything happen in 3 at-bats today against the Seattle Sea Serpents. Fortunately for Slow and the Aviators, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game, 3-0. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 26 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." For the year, Slow has hit .364 with no home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 8 runs. |
