Outer Banks's McDaniel Gets Legends Player of the Week Monday, June 23rd , 2070 Shrimp McDaniel of the Outer Banks Aviators put the wraps on a fantastic week of play by being named the Legends Conference Player of the Week. The hot-hitting right fielder was a bonafide batting machine as he racked up 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs, .579 BA, 9 RBIs, 8 runs, 4 walks and a .652 OBP. This year McDaniel is hitting .325 with 8 home runs and 41 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .382 clip and scored 29 runs. |
