Plainview Gets 5 Hits Monday, June 23rd , 2070 Death Valley catcher Daniel Plainview had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Nashville Stars at Cari Price Memorial Stadium as the Scorpions picked up a 8-4 victory. "He was patient up there today," Death Valley skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Plainview has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Daniel Plainview hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Toby Ziegler in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
