Champions Names Top Player of the Week Monday, August 4th , 2070 Veteran Leonidas Ruiz had a great week at the plate for the Demons to capture the majority of votes for Player of the Week in the Champions Conference. The 33-year-old Detroit designated hitter built a .435 average on the strength of 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. Thus far this year Ruiz is batting .282 with 8 home runs, 53 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |
