Pitcher of the Year Award Announced, Winner is Kranepool Friday, October 17th , 2070 When the name of Ichabod Kranepool appeared on the Indianapolis lineup card in 2070, it was a virtual guarantee of a victory or at least a well-pitched game. For his brilliant performance this season he was named the Champions Conference Pitcher of the Year Award winner today. He started 27 games, running up a 10-7 record and a 3.41 ERA. Kranepool held opponents to a .245 average while striking out 199, walking 46 and allowing 175 hits in 187.1 innings of work. Zach Mulder of the Nashville Stars finished second in voting, while Toby Ziegler of the Nashville Stars finished third. |
