Burgers Selected Player of the Week Monday, June 8th , 2071 It was some kind of week for Danny Burgers of the Vancouver Vandals. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .600 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Legends Conference. Last week Burgers went 12-for-20, chalked up 4 home runs and 11 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. This year Burgers has collected a .269 batting average to date with 39 hits in 145 at-bats, 31 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 21 times. He has played in 37 games. |
