Heeler Week's #1 Player Monday, June 15th , 2071 26-year-old Bandit Heeler sent shock waves through Pro Baseball Experience last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Champions Conference Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Heeler made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .545 average, 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the Seattle Sea Serpents catcher goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Heeler certainly made his mark last week. In 42 games this season Heeler is batting .309 with 51 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 23 runs and driven in 25. |
