Keli Strokes 3 HR Against Seattle Friday, June 26th , 2071 Kerry Keli went yard three times in a Buffalo Surge victory over the Seattle Sea Serpents at The Power House today. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Buffalo first baseman went 4-for-5 against Seattle with 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Surge to the 14-5 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Kerry Keli grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Aria Bluesky in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Aria Bluesky in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jay Kirkpatrick in the 8th. Thus far in 2071 Keli is hitting .322 with 19 home runs, 59 RBIs, 51 runs scored and has compiled a .403 OBP. |
