Pollock V King of the Hill, No-Hits Hepcats
Monday, June 15th , 2076
Jackson Pollock V really did a number on the Kansas City Hepcats at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good -- and that number was zero.
The Chicago Kingpins hurler had what he later called "one of the best moments of my life," tossing a no-hitter and leading the Kingpins to victory, 8-0.
"This is something special," Pollock V said. "I knew from the fifth inning that I had a no-hitter working. I tried to get it out of my mind, but you just can't. They have too many scoreboards in the park. They're everywhere you look."
The right-hander faced only 30 batters in the no-hit gem, struck out 5 and walked 2.
"We simply couldn't get any wood on the ball," Kansas City manager said when asked about the epic performance. "Pollock V was brilliant out there. He certainly had our number."
To date this year, in 11 starts, Pollock V has crafted a 2-6 mark with a 5.81 ERA.
