Demons Suffer 5-2 Home Loss
|
The Vancouver Vandals earned a win at Demon's Lair at Laser Park, stopping the Detroit Demons, 5-2. Starting pitcher Thor Lore played a big role in his team's success. Vancouver now has a record of 50-37 with the win.
Vancouver shortstop Brooks Walker contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 86th hit of the season and put the Vandals ahead, 5-1.
Walker attributed the win to his team's "tenacity."
