Vandals Get 7-1 Win Versus Buffalo
Vancouver rode a good effort from starter Commander Shepard to beat the Buffalo Surge at The Scudder Forty-Three Stadium. The final score was 7-1. The win gives the Vandals a record of 33-69.

The Vandals got a big hit from catcher Gabriel Katcher-Scudder. In the bottom of the fifth, Katcher-Scudder pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 29th double of the season put the Vandals ahead, 5-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Shepard said.
