New York Tops Outer Banks, 8-3, Claims 2-1 Series Lead

The New York Voyagers moved to within one game of the Conference Finals, downing the Outer Banks Aviators on the road at The Island by a score of 8-3. Voyagers left-hander PDub Woods had a strong outing. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Voyagers a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Divisional Series.
Adam-Cole Bay-Bay had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the first for New York. With the bases loaded and the Voyagers leading 2-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"PDub is tough when he's hitting his spots," said New York manager .
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Island in Providence.
