The home crowd had a good time watching the Indianapolis Apex and Nashville Stars get after it.
Nashville pitcher Mac John did his part in helping his team defeat the Indianapolis Apex, 5-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. By defeating Indianapolis, the third-place Stars improved to 20-21.
John was in the zone, shutting down Indianapolis hitters over 8 innings. John, who threw 117 pitches, allowed no runs on 2 hits. He also tallied 9 punchouts.
