Toros catcher Carlton Beaty put his stamp on his team's 8-3 win over the Boise Raptors. Beaty was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Cancun in the contest. With the win, Cancun lifts its record to 7-0.

Cancun used a clutch at-bat from Gnome Child to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Toros ahead, 6-3. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Beaty told the Cancun Today.
