The San Antonio Sloths had to overcome a big game from Cancun designated hitter John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt to leave El Coliseo de los Toros with a victory. And they did, winning 8-4. Jingleheimer Schmidt was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Akira Komuro nailed down his 1st save. With the win, San Antonio lifts its record to 3-4.

San Antonio used the clutch hitting of Luigi Lanikai to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Sloths the lead, 7-4. For the game, Lanikai had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
