Scorpions Walk It Off for 35th Win of Season
The Scorpions grabbed a win, 3-1, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Cancun pitcher Pedro Martini. Martini went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. The win belonged to M4XX V3L0 in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Kelly Brandt took the loss for Cancun. With the win, Death Valley pushed its record to 35-35.

Death Valley got a clutch hit from Sting Eucliffe. The designated hitter launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 14th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Eucliffe.
