Hayes Socks 200th HR Friday, July 21st , 2062 Swinging his way into the record books, Elwood Hayes reached the 200 homer mark today at The Scudder Forty-Three Stadium against the San Antonio Sloths. He went 2-for-4 with 1 run batted in and 2 runs on the day, although Vancouver would go down to defeat 5-3. "It was a distraction," Hayes said of his 200th home run. "I'm happy it's over. I just wish I'd been able to make a difference in the outcome today." Over his career Hayes is batting .260 with 200 home runs and 643 RBIs.
