Dog Slaps 5 Hits
Monday, May 11th , 2076
The New York Voyagers stopped the San Antonio Sloths by a score of 11-5 at Vaughn's House, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Summuh Dog. The 30-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.
"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Dog said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."
Dog did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Sloths.
"Not much that I can say," offered San Antonio manager . "He just hammered the heck out of us."
Summuh Dog singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
This year, Dog is batting .485 with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. In 17 games he has scored 15 times.
