Hrishikesh Batters New Orleans for 5 Hits Saturday, June 27th , 2071 Vancouver Vandals catcher Akshay Hrishikesh banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the New Orleans Rougarous, 4-2. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Hrishikesh said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Akshay Hrishikesh singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 10th. In the 2071 season Hrishikesh is hitting .237 with 4 home runs.
